I am an Australian sociologist who is going to Hong Kong in late Dec 2009/early Jan 2010 to interview gay men on their experience of ageing. In 2008, Palgrave Macmillan, UK published my first book, The Changing World of Gay Men, and this research in Hong Kong is for a second book on gay ageing.

I have already interviewed men in New York, Sydney and Los Angeles. I want to interview gay men in Hong Kong and would be very grateful if any Hong Kong citizens, living or studying in Melbourne, could provide me with contact details of gay friends in Hong Kong who might be interested in having an interview.

Please note that the identities of all those interviewed will be protected: in my books, I use invented names for all my interviewees.
